In which cases do I need to block my payment method?

Bank card lost or stolen

  • Can't find your payment card?
  • Did you forget your card in a store?
  • Was your payment card stolen?

Contact Card Stop to have it blocked immediately.

Card swallowed

Did you withdraw money and forget your card in the ATM? Was your card swallowed by the ATM?

As a precaution, it is best to contact Card Stop to have that card blocked immediately.

New bank card not received

You applied for a new card, but it still hasn't arrived?

Contact your card issuer, who will decide whether it is best to have the card blocked. 

Suspicion of fraud

Do you see fraudulent transactions being carried out with your card?

Do your credit card statement show transactions that you did not carry out yourself?

Contact Card Stop to have your card blocked immediately.

If you suspect fraud on your bank account, consult your bank's website to block access to your banking application(s).

Received fraud prevention letter

If Worldline's Fraud Prevention service suspects that your credit card details are being misused, you will receive a letter from them asking you to block your card as a security measure by calling +32 (0)2 205 85 85. In this letter, you will receive a shortcut code that you must enter into our voice system to identify yourself.

You can consult a sample letter (NL) or a sample letter (FR).

Received fraud prevention SMS message

If Worldline or your bank detects suspicious use of your credit card that could be fraudulent, all purchases made with your card will be declined as a security measure. In that case, you will receive an SMS asking you to contact our customer service on +32 (0)2 205 85 85 to check the suspicious transactions. You will receive a shortcut code in this SMS message which you must enter into our voice system to identify yourself.

Smartphone or tablet with payment or banking application lost or stolen

If your smartphone or tablet with a Payconiq, Apple Pay, or Google Pay payment application is lost or stolen, contact Card Stop immediately.
